BILL MORGAN'S QUESTION: But what about at Judgment day?
by dwise1@aol.com

Bill's question:
But what about at Judgment day? What would you say to God then?

This exchange took place towards the end of my two-year email exchange with Bill Morgan. My patience with Bill was wearing thin at this point, so my response starts off a bit sarcastic. As usual, Bill had completely avoided responding to the topic by posting yet another non sequitur question and, yet again, I answered that question while reminding Bill of his transgression. And yet again, as usual, Bill ignored my answer.

Part of the background to these messages was my repeatedly pointing out to Bill about the documented deterimental effects of creation science's contrary-to-fact claims upon the faith of its followers; particularly as documented by geologist and former creation scientist Glenn R. Morton, who nearly became an atheist because what he had been taught as a creationist contradicted the hard facts of geology that he faced and worked with daily. Glenn R. Morton's story and the stories of others who had gone through the same thing can be found at his web site, DMD Publishing Co -- Glenn R. Morton, on his Personal Stories of the Creation/Evolution Struggle Page. Despite my repeated attempts to warn Bill Morgan of the damage he was doing to the faith of others, there is no evidence that he had ever heeded my warnings. Hence my admonition here that Bill will have to face the consequences of his actions and that he has much more to fear from "Judgement Day" than do I.

Although a full two weeks had transpired between the first message and Bill's question, that is my best guess for which message he was responding to.

In the following text, I am "DWise1" and Bill Morgan is "BillyJack6." Liber8r was a third-party witness to our correspondence.

Well, Liber8r, here's Bill's "explanation":

12.6 % no way! I answered 100% you just did not lke my answers!

If he's able to show such disregard for the facts when they're right before
him in print, just think of the liberties he would feel free to take in the
spoken medium, which allows him to play even faster and looser with the
truth. The written word makes it a lot harder to confuse everyone or to hide
rhetorical trickery and just plain false claims, like his "100%" claim above.
No wonder he tries to avoid the written word whenever possible.

He's a fine witness for Christianity. Makes a fellow really glad not to be a
Christian. I, for one, have to shave in the morning.

Oh, how quaint! Now he's resorting to the Christian Death Threat. Though
that's usually a last-ditch tactic, which means that he has already exhausted
all other options. Didn't take him long, did it?

Bill, that threat means nothing to us. It's nothing more than Partialist
dogma, which can only have an effect on a Partialist, such as yourself.
Consider the effect it would have on you if a Hindu were to warn you that if
you continued your evil ways you would be reincarnated as a cockroach. Nu?

But since you are a Partialist, that means that YOU are very much concerned
with how you would fair on your Judgement Day. So, Bill, what will YOU say
to your god, billed as a God of Truth, when he calls you to account for your
use of lies and trickery, which are what creation science is, to deceive
others into abandoning their own faith in order to worship creation science,
the invention of fallible men? When he calls you to account for the people
whose faith you had destroyed by converting them to the religion of creation
science and its central Heresy that if creation science's claims are found to
be false, then Scripture has no meaning and neither does their faith? When
he calls you to account for refusing to verify the reports of Glenn Morton
and creationist geologists trained by Christian Heritage College suffering
severe crises of faith when confronted by the hard facts of geology and
thereby losing or nearly losing their faith? When he calls you to account
for strongly recommending that people send their kids to Christian Heritage
College when you were aware of their history of destroying Christians' faith?

Bill, you believe that you are solely responsible -- ie, answerable -- to
your god. How will you answer him? What will YOU say on Judgement Day?
There is still time for you to repent your sins.

Bill, you are billing [no pun intended] your current non sequitur as a
response, which it is not. Here is what the message was:

Please tell us just what part of that message you were alledgedly responding
to.

I think that you were just trying to divert attention away from the issue
here, which is that you have made an outrageously false claim, we have
requested that you substantiate your claim, and you, knowing that your claim
is false, are trying to weasel out of responsibility for your false claim.

Bill, you need to either substantiate your claim of having answered 100% of
my questions or admit that your claim is false.

FWIW, if there does turn out to be some kind of an after-life, I believe that
a lot of people are going to be very surprised by what it turns out to be,
especially those who don't understand about Maya. Though at first it would
be exactly what they expected, but that's Maya.

it is an après-vie."
